Quality Crafted Skin Care Products from Oregon
HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Coming from Las Vegas, born and raised, I thought I was crazy for having such
a passion for making handcrafted candles and skin care products. Back home
my friends and family loved my products. I wanted to stretch my wings then, but,
there was no other real avenue to market my products.
After our family moved to Oregon to live among the natural beauty, I found that
Farmers Markets and Craft Markets, it seemed, was a big part of Oregon culture
and I wanted to see why. I went to my first Farmers Market in McMinnville, Oregon.
Wow, I was impressed! I had fun, explored the market, and I discovered why
markets were part of Oregon culture. I felt at home quickly. What a beautiful
market! I was amazed at the representation of professionalism and ability. I found
that I was relating to these people. More over, I loved making candles and my own
skin care products. I found my avenue.
Candle,Bath & Spa Co. was founded in 2005 and is gaining popularity and loyalty
among people from Oregon to New York, the Islands of Hawaii, and as far as
Indonesia. All of our customers have come from markets in the NW, by word of
mouth, or visitors to our beautiful state of Oregon.
Our products range from shea butter lotion to body scrubs, goat milk soap and
lip balm in between. I have developed our products as a hobby using the best
ingredients, some of our formulas are simply age-old recipes from the greatest
of spa’s. Our products are effective and serve a purpose.
For me, the success of my company is important. I have great products, and if not
for Oregon culture, I would not have made it this far. So I am thankful for its great
gift. My goal is to eventually see my products on every store shelf in Oregon.
In the future I would like to expand to the shelves of other states and employ as
many as I can while not changing a thing about my products, perhaps packaging. I
thrive on good product reputation and do not plan, nor will ever reduce my product
to gain that goal. I will keep my sights set on Farmers Markets, craft fairs and local
community events and grow my grassroots business into my dream....
